stuff like that is totally irrelevant. if course let's say the average indian guy doesn't have such a high wage as let's say someone from central europe, but he doesn't have to pay 60?c for a ball of icecream as well. it always has to be relative to the price levels in the respective countries.
i hate statistics going like "in bangladesh average income is about 10USD per month". sure it is, but it's irrelevant because a loaf of bread doesn't cost 1$ there but maybe 0.01$ instead.
but this should not veil the overall bad living quality in this region.
