I guess I live in Southampton, England.

Depicted by a darkened blot on this representation of the British Isles, it is not much different in real life.

I'm situated in Montreal/Canada... My precise coordinate can be found around the bottom left of ther map labeled ILE-PERROT...Obviously its a sepereate island!

Everyone wants what they dont have, I'd love to live in Europe for some time, and I dont get why people over there think castles are ugly (I think they look absolutely beautiful, and the ruins of castles are even more so).
Maybe a little late to answer that, but anyway...

I know what you mean, but in fact you wouldn't care much about castles if you would life here, because you would see them not so often, and if you'd see them, you are not so much interested in going there more than one time a year, or even more than one time in a lifetime.

If you have a wonderful landscape around you, then you can go there every day without having to pay for it, and in my humble opinion a landscape is much more beautiful than some castles. The rest around here is really, really boring, and not even that - it makes me depressive, just like the people do. There just aren't such wonderful places like in Australia, where those seem to be everywhere (and no, I really believe tourist atraction doesn't make a place seem wonderful for people living there, that's just not what I mean - It's the opposite that I like, with no people around and stuff at a beautiful place, something unable to find here without having to take a walk for hundreds of kilometers).

I live in Gallese, near Viterbo, about 80 Km north of Rome, in Italy. It is a little medieval town. Here are some images of the town, a map of Italy and a picture of our castle, where the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio lived for a while.

Kouvola, the most useless city in Finland.

Yeah, lots of people have left & appeared. But it's normal evolution on every forum.

Or maybe not, if super-intelligent little stones would come up with an idea of forum no one would leave. No one would write either. They would just sit and moss (instead of post) boost all the time.

Time to take my medicine.

i live in Winnipeg...it's in central Canada, in the prairies.

Dark Lucidity: Kinross is a beautiful place, i really like it there!
C.O.T.L.O.D.: Brighton is one of my most favorite places on the planet!

I live in Adelaide, in South Australia. South Australia is the driest state in the driest continent... But I like it here even though we're in drought...
At this precise moment I'm on holidays at my Grandparents in Bundaberg, about 5 hours north of Brisbane...

I live in Kfar-Saba, Israel real close to Tel-Aviv. I guess the mall is the biggest thing here, and here's a pic of the front of my building.

Oh, and it's like the most humid and hot place eva in the summa:goggly: .

I have also understood lately that most people don't really know where my country lies...

I thought I'd contribute to this thread as well. :)
I'm actually from two places in the world, the first is Gothenburg (Sweden) where I was born and have lived about 10 years of my life.
Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden, the capital is Stockholm. It's located here on the map:

here's a picture of the city harbor:

...The other place is Athens, the capital of Greece where I have been living the last 7 years.

It's a large city with a great history dating back to the ancient greeks and all their big cultural, philosophical and political achievements. Now it's just a shitty chaotic hole hosting almost 1/3 of the total population in Greece and lots of really old school metal fans you'll find impossible to have a decent music oriented conversation with... :p
The most famous attraction would be the Parthenon built on the hill of Acropolis around 440 BC:

That's all , sorry for all the pics.
