I've heard that too. Supposedly people don't try to run other people off the road there, and they don't play the "this person wants to switch into my lane so I'm going to make sure they can't" game. The Greatest thing about Canada is the free health care system, the US really needs to try it. A little extra taxes for free heath care for all is great.
Free healthcare is one of the worst ideas in history for America, because it gives equal treatment to all. The facts are, the poor get free healthcare in America, and the middle-upper classes have to pay for insurance. With equal healthcare, some people would not be entitled to the same medical services as before. If we all pay the same, then what constitutes who can get a cat-scan and who can't. Some people (rich) pay lots of money and do lots of research, through their insurance company, to be aware of future problems/diseases so that they won't get sick. So, who would pick who gets what type of medical treatment, would it be based on age/race/weight/etc. So, though in some cases free medical would work properly and well, in America it would not. There are so many immigrants here that free medical would just cause people to overrun the country.

Well, that and the fact that our goverment is so currupt and screwed up that they would rather spend billions of dollars of our tax money a day on pointless wars than to figure out how to spend our tax money on heathcare and the over all wellfare of our nation.
