Good chance that SymX is playing with Halford in NYC!

:( Damnit, now I have to hope they do another US tour sometime in mid to late 2003. Then hopefully they would play at The World, where they admit all ages, or if it happens to be at a club thats 16 and over, I'll be old enough to go. Still sucks though.

You'll get into lamours even if your 2. Just in case go in with an adult, normally that place is like disney land for metal.

Are you old enough to remember L'Amour back in the day? Well, I am, so you can imagine how I feel when I go there. Of course, I was only a teenager myself back then so I suppose the older folks were saying the same thing about me and my friends as I am about the kids who go there now. ;)

@Yngster: This sounds like good news man! Now you can probably go, in which case my offer still stands (for your old man's peace of mind, that is).

I guess I didn't know any better because the only show I've ever seen there was Kreator/Destruction, and that was an old crowd.

This is good news! Now I just hope I can get this whole thing together before it sells out. And if I go, I really don't care how much people rip on me for my age. It seems most SX fans are nice though.

I put up a poll on the Halford board (only 12 responses so far) with 50% respondents knowing SX.

I played up SX quite a bit, and the fans that never heard of SX are very excited to see them with the Metal God - some went out and bought The Odyssey.

I can't wait for that show! I know that a lot press will be there so this may be an important engagement for SX as far as gaining more well-deserved recognition.

Thank you very much Hawk. It's cool to see fellow Halford fans like yourself that are also into quality Prog Rock/Metal - especially Symphony X.

Well you are doing great in spreading the word! Sometimes the Halford board can be a very conservative place, so you have got your work cut out for you

Hey Hawk it's NRH. There was a newbie at Halford that actually mentioned Nevermore in his fave bands. I was floored.
