well due to unexpected financial crisis i won't be able to afford Slate Trigger for now.

so does anyone know of a good trigger plug-in thats also free?

For multisamples I use drumreaplacer, it's only for Reaper, but it works great, you just have to "prepare" your wav files from your multisamples but it's super easy to use and accurate. Doesn't have as many fancy options as drumagog or slate trigger but for free it's good, and it's the only free option I've found that does multisamples.

Can also vouch for Aptrigga. It's basically the only plug I use nowadays for sound replacement. So simple and reliable. I just upgraded to Cubase 6 and the new hitpoint detection seems to be pretty damn good though, but it's not that accurate on blastbeats on the project I'm working with now. Otherwise that's one of the things I miss in Aptrigga: I'd like to be able to extract midi from it like in Drumagog.

downloaded apTrigga demo, PT does not seem to recognize it. probably 64x incompatibility...

will try shortcircuit now

great solution!
btw my guitar makes a funny noise maybe i'll switch to a violin

edt: how obvious... not RTAS version...
so i guess mixing drums in studio one from now

IIRC, Drumagog had a 14-day trial with full features... I've never used it personally but recently purchased Slater Trigger and almost leaned towards Drumagog because of the advertised demo version.
