I guess Im just saying dont lump all modern rock into the same old thing. Many of those people have put together good songs, many of which were pounded to death by the radio... but they started out good.

Pretty much. I enjoy some modern rock myself. I don't enjoy it enough to really listen to it on a consistent basis, but once in a while some Nickelback is okay imo

I like a few of their hard hitting rockers, I like 3 Doors Down, I enjoyed the first Alter Bridge CD quite a bit and enjoy some of this second one though it seems somewhat redundant of the first, and I really liked Shinedowns Leave a Wisper but thats about all of the more commercial stuff I have bought. I like good vocalists and Shinedowns singer is amazing and the guy in Alterbridge has some pipes too... and much of the music kicks ass. But then Im an old rocker so it figures. Still, I spend most of my time listening to progressive... whatever.
