Hi guys, I wont buy a good mic for recording voice tracks, growl and clean vocals....I think to buy th At 4040....what do you think of my choice?

If you're going to buy an AT mix for vocals I'd recommend teh 4060 though I've gotten some really good sounds with a 4047.

Charter Oak Microphones makes some killer mics for about a grand that hold up to a lot of more expensive ones.

Thanks guys!......another question, I'm looking to buy a pair of mics for overheads in the price range of 400 euros, I thinking at rode nt5 stereo pair, but I hear some people are not really satisfied with them........haow do you think?

Well my plan soon is to get a pair of AT4040's for OH's, and just use one for vox...the economical solution, but I've heard that 4040s are totally tits for either job, so that's what I'm shooting for.
