Good MP3 Player / Encoder software?

What's a good MP3 player/ripper that I can download as freeware/shareware? Any suggestions? Something simple is fine with me, but one that recognizes OGG files will be useful too.

For some reason, my Windows Media Player just stopped working (ever since I installed and ran SpyBot), so I figure it's about time to grace this new laptop of mine with some wizzbang MP3 player.

While you're at it, got any links to good spyware/adware removal software? spybot is great...for about 3 minutes before I'm plagued again. Windows has got more holes than swiss cheese.

As far as spyware removal. Ad-Aware ... follow Erik's link above. You have to buy the full version though to get the most out of it.

I find SpyBot to be heaps better than Ad-Aware, but often you need a combination of both if you are going to use Windows machines and IE...
