any Dredg fan here? the new songs (albeit just demos) show that these guys are clearly the greatest melody-makers of the last years! "El Cielo" is imho the best album of the last ten years! An absolute masterpiece with no weak points whatsoever.

Where did you get the demos from? I have some of the new songs performed live on the computer, but I haven't listened to them a whole lot...and yes, El Cielo is really good, although I don't really hail it as much as you do. Just great music. Actually, the Dredg song that I'm totally in love with lately is the Leitmotif opener Symbol Song/Movement I: @45°N, 180°W. Song titles like that are a bitch to type, though...

Perfect song for the moment...it's not that I'm even feeling bad at all, the lyrics don't really matter, but just...the mood of the song is so fitting. Had first soccer practices this year, just got back from the shower and my whole body, especially the legs, are so numb.
Next up is Heartattack In A Lay By, for sure.

What does "dredg" mean? And Dredg is from California, USA, says allmusicguide.com.

Death Angel - the art of dying
I have 100's of promo/sampler CDs and they keep coming my way
Probably had this DA CD for at least 6 months and
just got around to playing 'the art of dying' and must say I like it much. I don't know where Death Angel is in the scheme of things but I recommended this disc.It rocks.
