now, if i hadn't always had serious reservations about the singer's voice, i would name "kingwood" album of the year so far. here you have a band that seemed lost to obnoxious second-rate records after a few brilliant releases, unexpectedly coming back with something that's harder, faster, and more to the point than ever. they actually introduce at least two or three new punk riffs, which just doesn't happen thirty years after the genre was born. if they only had a vocalist with a powerful delivery instead of being as clean-cut as the kid who mows your lawn, i would be jumping with glee.

I've been hearing about this new Primordial album now from many different people. So I'm checking it out now. It seems okay so far, but that's my first impression.
