well being in a joke band i kinda have to disagree, nothing wrong with keeping it (more than) a little tongue in cheek...everybody has a good time, not like we're trying to make a statement. and i dunno what other joke bands you might be referring to, but they're in a totally separate category of entertainment from serious bands, like comparing novels to comic books, fwiw.
