just ordered it, cant wait... it has pre-production (demo, im assuming, not just pre-mixing) tracks from obscura! *drool*

this should hold me over till their new one, which they are supposedly working on.. good news

?! Where did you hear that they are working on a new one?? I haven't heard any news since the loss of their drummer.

i read it on a bbs, where a guy said he emailed the label and asked about their progress. They said they were releasing this demo anthology and working on new material... 2004 release planned or something. Also I read they would be getting a session drummer when the time came. Well, I hope the album is good, but personally i know that what made Obscura so great was, in part, the contribution second guitarist Steeve Hurdle.. the guy was a madman...

yeah, its crappy sound quality.. its more for studying the genius behind the obscura songs.. hehe. Surprisingly they are pretty cogent and formed in 95-96. Its all pretty demo/rehearsal quality though

What i really want to get is Steeve Hurdle's band before gorguts, purulence. They had a demo, a single, and a split cd. Someday ill find it hehe

I've liked From Wisdom to Hate for a while now, but I could never get into Obscura. Now I've finally started to love it for the crazed genius that it is...absolutely insane album.
