What is the best Gorguts album?
I've never really gotten into this band and intend to now. Also, what would be the best place to start? I tried Obscura a while back and found it way to troublesome to get into.

The Erosion of Sanity in my opinion, and others might agree. Either that or Considered Dead. Maybe From Wisdom to hate aswell, that ones like Obscura but a bit less crazy.

Obscura is their masterwork, but it's fucking hard as fuck to listen to.

Obscura. It's hard as hell to get into at first but it's really genious stuff.

Speaking of Gorguts, any Negativa fans?

Most people will go with Obscura because it was ground breaking at the time it came out and it's still one of the best dm album.

But personally I prefer their first two: Considred dead and Erosion of Sanity. I jsut like the good old school death metal feel they have and their are a lot more groovy than Obscura. Obscura is ultra technical and sound a bit mechanic. I haven't listen to From Wisdom to hate enough to give you any comment on it.

As for Negativa, I wasn't super impress with the ep but I'm still looking forward for a full lenght.
