Hey

Just a day or two ago i received my 003 Desk. Ive been a fairly proficient Cubase user for about 2 years now. but i needed Protools for a course i was doing.

Whenever i would have buffer problems with cubase and my Echo Audiofire 12 Interface i would just crank the buffer size up to 2000 for any mixing or processing. would handle it fine. Drop it back down for tracking to reduce latency

With ProTools and the 003, im running it on Highest settings for Buffer and ive done all the recommended system optimization settings plus a few of my own, but im getting about 5 or 6 simultaneous tracks with no Processing what so ever but randomly get the Error messages telling me to try increase the Buffer due to interruptions.

If this begins to happen while im recording it could be a major problem

Btw i have 2GB of ram installed on a PC (not mac unfortunately)

Any help Greatly Apreciated.

Likely a problem with the firewire card you've got.

Does it give you a DAE error like: DAE Error -6006
Type that into the digidesign.com search bar and that should lead you in the right direction if not solve the problem.

the answer is yes.
reinstall windows.
have some H20 and step outside for some Air little pirate boy
