...and it's beautiful! Now, I just need to get a turntable.
!

For those of you who haven't found it yet, I got mine here: www.hotstuff.se

Oh man. Why you did this to your self? Just kiddin' I guess that you already have "Still Live" on CD 'cause you'll die from your agony until you buy the turntable, unless there's any friend with one.
I have the "My Arms Your Hearse" album in vinyl. It's very good album but I believe that it deserves a better packadge... gatefold or something. An other think that dissapointed me with this is the absence of the lyrics. I think that an inner sleeve with the lyrics whould be great!

I had it on ...ehm ... mp3, but my intention was to buy it on cd after I got all the other albums (which I now have), so I'll probably buy it on cd as well when the new digipack is released.

Go have a look at the Official Opeth site, it says the Still Life DLP is from Peaceville. When they refer to 're-issue' they prolly just mean the re-release of the album, cos to my knowledge, there has never been more than one printing run of any of the Opeth LP's

Any YES, the first three DLP's were by Candlelight (And have dodgy packaging) and considering that the last two are packaged considerably better, it's unlikely they were printed by the same label.....

Now I just have to wait for a company based in London who supposedly still have copies of Still Life DLP to hit me back (they're slightly cheaper than hot stuff)... I wish they'd stop taking there bloody time though, if they dodn't have it I wish they'd let me know so I can order one from hotstuff... :bah:

The first three albums were releaed by DISPLEASED records on vinyl under exclusive license to Candlelight... that would probably explain the less than par packaging... What they did print is good, but they are very plain... They should have included inserts and a gatefold sleeve on each... I guess there isn't too much incentive to get these unless you want a bigger picture of the cover art (Even though they used the poor quality cover printings of the candlelight re-issues)...

I just recently received my copy of the Still Life vinyl and it was worth it... Very beautiful... Now I just need the Blackwater Park DLP gatefold...

I wonnder if Deliverance and Damnation will ever get a vinyl version pressed...
