Scott said Got the Time is actually played faster by Joe Jackson.

I haven't heard Trust's Anti-Social, so I can't comment there.

well i am pretty sure anthrax said joe jackson actually plays got the time alot faster than they do,not 100% sure about antisocial to the original...

Got the Time was originally done by Joe Jackson and Antisocial was originally by some French band called Trust. I've heard the original Antisocial and it's pretty horrible IMO.

Anyway, yeah, they are covers. Joe Jackson does not play Got the Time faster, at least not the version I heard. Anthrax does a shitload of covers.

I have a live Joe Jackson version of Got the Time and it IS fast - maybe even slightly faster than the Thrax cover.

I'm still yet to hear the original Antisocial sadly.

I heard it, it's ok. I don't really find anything about the French fascinating, so I prefer the english version. Not only that but - I don't see how it is possible to just translate a song like that - the melody for the lyrics would get all fucked up wouldn't it? Those fuckers put vowels everywhere.

Just heard the Original "Got The Time".. Not bad, I still prefer teh Thrax versions although they kept them pretty true to the originals with added power chords.. I think what bums me out is the bass solo in "Got The Time"... I always thought it kicked ass.. I mean it still does but it wasn't really Frankie's....
