Gotthard

Poor ol' Ozzy. So, HC are you not an Ozzy fan at all or do you just hate this new release?

~Brian~

Ha ha...love classic and mid-era Ozzy. No More Tears is legendary to me. I even like most of the newer stuff. I also like Ozzy as a person. Major props to what he has done for metal and tons of respect...I also REALLY like Zakk Wylde and I'll stop my bitching about the new album until it comes out after this....Some of it is really really sickening. Track 5 is sad sad sad. I don't know what happened. I'll be interested to hear others opinions (like yours:kickass: ) when you get it. I think it will be equivalent to St. Anger, although some people felt like that on the last one.

Ozzy bashing put on hold..............for now.

Wow, it must really suck then! :erk: I hate to hear that, because I've loved the guy's music ever since I was a kid. My favorites are his early stuff, but he's never topped Bark At The Moon in my opinion. Jake E Lee and Tommy Aldridge on the same album.....hard rock bliss to me! :headbang: :worship: The Ultimate Sin is another classic of his, but Ozzy himself doesn't even acknowledge it's greatness.

Has anyone heard the new one yet? Honestly, I'm not even sure if it's out yet, but I noticed Zane having it posted on his site. If so, how does it compare to Lipservice and the rest of their back catalog? I majorly dig this band, so they need to play ProgPower Glenn!

I LOVE GOTTHARD!!:headbang:

They are the kings of melodic hard rock!! I haven't heard the entire new album yet, only some samples but I'm excited. I'd give ANYTHING for them to play ProgPower or anywhere in the U.S. I know Glenn is a fan, but he's said in the past he's unsure of how the crowd would react, especially after the mixed reactions to Pink Cream 69 and Jorn. Looks like this will be the band that finally gets me to take a trip to Europe!

Yeah, that's the unfortunate thing. I would venture to GUESS that PC69 and DEFINITELY Jorn are bigger than Gotthard. Mixed reactions to them would certainly not bode well for the big G. Personally, however, I LOVED Jorn's set last year and really enjoyed PC69 as well, even thought I wasn't super happy with their set-list, still good stuff.
