I don't believe DiGiorgio is on that album/song...it was Derek Ramirez (played on Testament "Demonic"). Oh yeah...in regards to Demon Hunter's cover of "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck", Kilgore did it much better. Unrelated to that though...I think Demon Hunter is dildos.

I think 1:1 covers or just "br00talized" versions of classics are often pretty pointless (on record - live, it's a different story).

That's why I really like covers like Nevermore's take on "Sound Of Silence" or Warrel's interpretation of "Lucretia" and (especially) "Patterns" on his solo album. They took these songs and made them their own.

Anthrax put out some great covers too. "Got The Time", "Antisocial" etc...

I'm quite sure I did not see this one yet, but it's a cover of The Final Countdown by some Finnish band. Some say it's Norther, some say it's Children of Bodom, but I just learned right now youtubing the song that Norther DID do a version, and the one I heard is so much slower then the one that rocks. So according to youtube, it's from COB. And btw I never ever heard a version without that fuck up thing going on at around 1:10.
