SM57 blended with AKG C414 going into RME Octamic II into Digii 003 Rack. I used some basic eq and compression in the DAW then.

Weird. It says this when it tries to extract with WinRAR:

"C:\Users\Derek\Downloads\backlight_snare.rar
The archive is either in nunkonw format or damaged"

The other one worked fine, though. Odd.

Really odd.
I extracted the files, re-ziped, reuploaded and fixed the link.

Don't know if it will solve anything, but try it now and tell me if it works!

Nice... I'm liking the second set, except there's too much reverb / room sound on most of the samples. Would love to hear the dry mic'd tracks and mix 'em myself.
