Hi! I've just finished rebuilding my new room for recording. Sounds killer! I still need a couple of absorbers and bass traps here and there but you can already see the picture of what's going on soundwise. I used natural stone and wood materials to give more life and character to the sound. Here is the sample. It is single shot with a little processing on it, just a touch of EQ and standart compression. You will probably still need to tweak it to fit your needs. And it is not perfectly trimmed yet so cut it right at the transient.

Tell me if you like it and I will upload some more hits. And if you have an interest to compare how much influence on the sound can the room actualy have, you can find my topic with snare samples recorded in the old room somewhere in this forum. This is exactly the same snare drum (Tama metal works), mic (sm57) and recording chain (RME octamic D-> Digi 003 Rack).
