Hi Ultimate Metal,
I've been a lurker on the forums once in a while, mostly looking at recording techniques and ideas. Finally decided to join up and start conversations.
I'm the bassist in a Norwegian metal band, Råte (I'm the Canadian in the band), but I also act as one of our recording engineers, guitar tech, as well as a song writer, and studio guitarist. If you like groove metal and fusions of punk, thrash, ambient and modern metal, check us out (I will link below). Our music is kind of all over the place, since we all bring our inspirations from different genres of metal, hardcore, post-metal and punk. We are based out of Oslo, but are formed by a collection of Norwegians from across the country.
Anyways, I wanted to state my presence and see what bands and people are around Europe! It would be great getting in touch and getting to know some of you. Any Scandinavian bands, it would be awesome to get in touch. We are gigging a lot and getting ready to hit the studio again to record the rest of our current songs.
