You nailed it. That's why Joey was truly surprised they wanted him back. Charlie asking him back proved his sincerity toward a Bella-fronted Anthrax. It's tabula rasa now for everyone, and I believe they're all the wiser and willing to make it work.

It looks more sincere this time for shure. When they are on stage it looks like they are more into it.
