Very awesome song and it definitely doesn't sound "shit" (imo).
I would record something, but I have to go to bed now. I'm working on going to bed before 1:00 am. My ultimate goal is to sleep before 23:00. Reason is: I play much better in the morning/noon/afternoon than after 22:00.

I'm the other way around, i suck when i wake up, so i have to force myself to practice then, but when i come home from work at 22:00 i practice for hours!

This time, I tried some new things:
1. I used the V-Amp to record the Guitars (but not the chorus melody)
---> it still sucks when you play metal
2. I learnt the riffs seperately. When I recorded them, I played with the tab in front of me
---> Didn't work out so good, there are some nasty 2nd intervals played at the same time (argh, sounds horrible).
3. I played the solo only with a tab from a mag, I didn't hear the original (with consciousness).
