I blew it my first time too. Try practicing that which failed you... I got a damned near perfect the second time (they docked 3 points for something stupid.)

the test i had was nuts. There was a stop sign, and at the intersection, the road just turned to the right after the stop, and to my left was a large tree. I got points off for not looking left for incoming traffic?!?!?
the time i went back the cop was cool about it, he was just like "yeah just drive around this course" and when i got to the parallel parking, he didn't pull out his tapemeasure like the other guy did, just a "yeah sure seems fine to me"

parallel parking is a pain and not easily accomplished these days when spaces are very small and cars are so big! better luck next go round....

*shakes fist* Damn you Californians, with your parallel parking-less streets... I think I'm going to schedule to retake my test sometime after Nail-in-Christ holiday. My neighbor who's freakishly obsessed with cars helped me practice parallel park so I guess I have a better idea of how to do it now. All of this talk of parallel parking amuses me. I have yet to meet someone under 18 who can do it, even those who have passed the test.

I recently passed mine, but hmm.. heard that they can't actually MAKE you park anywhere they want, you can say "im not comfortable with parking my car here" and then can chose an easier spot....

mine is the most scowling pic ever. I tried to stick my tongue out the first time but she caught me and then I tried to look grym and tr00 and only succeeded in looking like I had a really bad hangover.

Cool. I'm glad you failed. Car congestion is going to lead to major problems. Cars are the second biggest scourge to society. Wouldn't it be good if every youngster failed their test.
