Guitar Compression using C1

Hi Andy.

In an erlier topic you said you'd give some guys the setting you use mostly for guitar using C1. I'm wondering if you're still able to send it or write the settings here.

Btw. Thanx for the tip on cutting the lower freq. on guitars, made the bass really stand out without killing the guitars.

Hey... if you have the M2000 from McDSP... it's as good as the C4 and it's lighter on the CPU.... the C4 is a fucking hog!!!!!
By the way, the multiband compression on low tunned guits ROCK!!!!!

Hm. Tried to use the preset now. It's a *.tfx-file but the C4 wants a *.xps-file.

If I'm correct, it's for Waves C4 in Pro Tools, so I quess it can only be opened with the Pro Tools-version of C4 (or Mac?). I might be wrong, but in their site they speak about *.tfx-files. Now we must find a way to convert it, or at least get a picture of the setup.

EDIT: I tryed a stupid thing and opened the file with notepad and renamed and saved it to *.pst and I'm not sure if it's the right way to do it, but it sounded right, when I used the renamed file on Sound Forge with C4. Hopefully the only difference between Pro Tools C4 (or Mac?) and basic C4 is the file names, so this might actually be the solution, or not...feels too simple.
