Hi guys.
I need a good multi-effect for live shows.
I use a Dual recto , and it's great , of course.Great distortion and impact and excellent clean.
But i usually use some effects when i play my songs ( reverb for solos , a little compression for cleans , sometime chorus, delay , or some strange combo ).
I have an old 9030 zoom rack ( a classic cheap multi-effects) and i use it in the classic combination send-return with mesa , using , of course , only the effects and no the amp simulation or distortions, but it ruins the final sound quality (great distortion + bad effects = horrible sound).
I need some advices: i want to buy a single hi-quality rack and not separated effects, and i need it only for the effects.
Thank you.

You might want to look into a Rocktron Intellifex, my brother has one and it's very nice, plus you might be able to pick up one used for $200-300. It's a very good unit for the money.

Get a Rocktron Xpression and a 1010 Behringer controller. Bang for the buck.
