Hi.
I have a guitar port and had been recording in cubase for some time, but since i got a new set of speakers, the way i plug them in is different, and i'm having a bit of a problem.
I use a M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard, and i have the guitar port plugged into the Input, and my speakers plugged into the output. The problem i am having now is that i cant hear the guitar as i am playing. While i am playing it doesnt come through the speakers, BUT, when i record and play back, it plays back fine, its just that i cant hear while i am playing. So it is going into the computer properly.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Seems like a monitoring issue while recording. I don't know your soundcard, but it should have a control panel window from which you should be able to set the monitoring the correct way. With my crappy Hercules 16/12 I have to select which inputs to monitor (only 2 at a time), and I have to use software monitoring rather than hardware, since it has MAJOR limitations...
