And here is some kind of quick review in English : http://en.audiofanzine.com/tablatur...6/editorial/reviews/And-the-Tab-Goes-On-.html

I´m messing with the demo here. So far, not impressed at all. In fact, it sucks! The worst thing is that it looks like you can´t write the drums on the tab using the midi note number anymore (like 36 for kick, 38 for snare, etc).

They invested all the new features on giving the stupid RSE system a boost. You know, the ridiculous sampler. Now it has some crappy ampsim devices, as if people who use GuitarPro were worried about making pleasant sounding midi files instead of using it as a writting tool to track real stuff on a real DAW later.

Damn, they got it all wrong. It is so sad.

Gave the demo a try...

I'm fine with it, but where the hell is the keyboard? I always have both the fretboard (which is now named "instrument panel", apparently) and the keyboard visible when I compose.

I'm still using Guitar Pro 4 here... 5 was fucking awful in comparison.

This looks like "more shit I don't need to write a song", so not going to bother! If I do upgrade, I'm getting Sibelius or Finale or something
