Guitar Tone with POD XT - Does it sounds like Dismember ?

Hi everybody!
just made a nice old school tone with my recently bought pod. Does it sounds like Dismember ?
i recorded guitars with 4track method, mentioned here some time ago.

Ah, the Sunlight sound! You are actually doing it right, since you're using the "Criminal" amp, since the original guitars from Sunlight Studio was an old Peavey combo

Sounds fantastic. I'm assuming it's eq'd? What EQ is used? Is there anything else involved such as compression or limiting?

yes, i EQed final mix only in sound forge and maximized it
no compression

sound nice, but if you want to get the Dismember sound get the old Boss Heavy Metal Pedal and set the level and the gain knobs to max. plug into a peavey amp (5150 "clean Chanel") and you have the dismember sound, i know it because my band open a show for them, here in my country.

it's the low and hi you should put to max on the heavy metal pedal. you can keep the level and dist at reasonable levels. the dist is not different when it's on 10.00 or on max . just keep in so it doesn't have that much noise but still have that obscene grrrrr. heavy metal is the coolest pedal ever

I've downloaded those patch and I can't make it sound so good.
What is the 4 tracks recording guitar method? Reamping every channel to get 2+2 stereo mix?

He means-quadruple
Four guitar tracks in mix
100/100 and 80/80

Played 4 times or just twice with different mics?

this patch should be edited as it seems for me now... less gain (11o`cl) and huge low-freq boost.
