hey Chris. I was wondering what type of wood do you use for the neck and body of your guitar. The tone is really clear and crisp. :headbang:

I think thats more to do with his choice of pickup, picks, strings, and technique.

While the body wood does make a difference (I believe all chris's new guitars are basswood with maple top) and the maple tops will add a nice sparkling top end to an otherwise "medium" tone wood. I personally feel most of the clarity you are hearing is more a technique thing. Seeking chris play 5 feet from my face twice now I can definitely tell you the mans technique is flawless.

Hey fivefingerfretman,

my LACS is made of Mahogany with a quilt maple top for the body and a laminate maple/rosewood neck. I prefer really ridged necks and tonally balanced bodies.

Take care, Chris.

Thanks Chris, and guitarguru777. Ever since i seen that show on november 20 in knoxville it has been through my mind everyday. Rock on guys:headbang:
