guitars sound to tame

Id like to try and and add some bollox to some guitars that were tracked to clean, they need more distortion/gain so Im thinking of trying plugins like camel crusher ect to try and dirty them up some more? Any ideas would be welcome.

If you have DI tracks, try reamping. You could also try adding the SimulAnalog/GuitarSuite JCM900 model to the tracks.

I don't think anything will be able to add more gain without sounding odd.

Cyanide is my 'go-to' distorter for everything, I've tried it on guitars post-recording and it works ALRIGHT, obviously not the best but give it a go. Its free.

Thanks guys. The engineer didnt record a di track so I cant reamp but I could try sending the guitar tracks through a distortion pedal?? Ill try the SimulAnalog/GuitarSuite JCM900 cheers Torniojaws and Cyanide cheers Morgoe.
