YOUR COMPUTER IS FULL OF EVIDENCE

Your hard drive might appear clean, but still be full of 'sensitive material' that you did not want to download in the first place and it might very well be a serious criminal offence to have that data stored on your computer even if you didn't know it was still there.

How would you feel if a snoop made this information public to your spouse, mother & father, neighbors, children, boss, church or the media?

To avoid such problems in future, professionally clean up your records before they are available to everybody and keep your computer secure & private, we recommend you to use approved & certificated software.

I remember before I got the firewall all setup some thing would auto install itself on my harddrive and was like the "super-wipe" or something and it had the subtitle "DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH PORN ON YOUR PC!!!" and the funniest part was that it automatically came on when I started up so that if anyone else used my computer but me they'd think that I was looking at porn.

The FBI is unraveling the latest in computer crime -- hackers who are holding data files and documents hostage in exchange for ransom.

The extortion program was detected by security researchers at Websense after a corporate customer fell victim to a computer infection. The malicious code encrypted files that included documents, photographs and spreadsheets.

A ransom note left behind included an e-mail address, and the attacker using the address later demanded $200 for the digital keys to unlock the files.

A security manager at Symantec Corp. says it's like "someone coming into your home, putting your valuables in a safe and not telling you the combination."

Experts say this case is isolated. But, they warn, computer users could be infected by viewing a vandalized Web site with vulnerable Internet browser software.
