Halo Of Blood Over North America 2014

Clearly intoxicated? It's just the way he talks on stage, to get better connection from drunk youngsters. This music is a release, way to channel anger, and to feel uplifted, it bodes well with alcohol as it has the same effect, this is why many find Bodom in their teens while partying.

This may be a stupid question, but is the merch booth opened after the show? It's normally to packed to make it there during

^ Yes, it should be. That's usually when we end up getting our shirts or whatever because we're always first in line to get on the barricade and don't have time to stop on the way in.

Went to my first COB show last night and it was fantastic as was Death Angel.

Went to both NYC shows last weekend. Had a blast. Two great setlists, got to talk to a bunch of awesome people while we waited in line outside and inside between bands, right up front for both shows, great openers, and the guys were awesome and seemed to be having a lot of fun. I'll try to throw some of my pics up in the pics thread over this coming weekend. We managed to snag a copy of the setlist both nights, too :D

Any word on the status of the show in Kyiv, Ukraine? There's a lot of silly speculations/panic going around about potential cancellation. :erk:

Hoping to hear some good news :headbang:

I fucking wanna see Henkka doing striptease and wearing lipstick again. Also that black metal suit was fun on Alexi. Also we need a gig at Lake Bodom and actually get Nils Gustafsson on the mike before Deadnight Warrior or smth. Maybe if that gig happened, Nils wouldn't even know of the whole fucking thing... amazing how this is possible. Can't they pay him for an interview, for the live DVD...???

I fucking wanna see Henkka doing striptease and wearing lipstick again.

anyhow... back to the topic, the boys are back in North America in october supporting Machine Head, why ??? ... I hope they play at least for an hour. And I'm not holding my breath for too much change in the setlist, nevertheless I'll be there for my 13 Bodom concert !

Cheers !

Machine Head Announces North American Tour Dates With Children Of Bodom, Epica, And Battlecross

Machine Head will continue dominating North America with the announcement of a 21-show U.S. and Canadian trek in support of the band's debut studio album for Nuclear Blast Entertainment, due out this Fall.

The devastating lineup will also feature Children of Bodom, Epica, and Battlecross. The tour launches on October 4th in Denver, Colorado and includes five Canadian cities before closing out in Hollywood, California on November 1st.

Machine Head front man & guitarist Robb Flynn checks in about the touring line-up and the upcoming shows:

"Machine Head raised the bar with concert production for 2012 ‘s 'Locust' tour, and now we plan to raise the bar again with our biggest US show yet, and the strongest line-up out there for 2014, PERIOD!!

"This is a MUST SEE event for any heavy metal fan in America! I am stoked that we were able to join up with our friends in Children Of Bodom, one of the premier power metal bands of our time, and our friends in Battlecross, who we toured with on Mayhem last year, and are going to bring the old-school thrash vibe. Epica’s symphonic metal will add a touch of much needed class to the drunken shenanigans that will surely take place on this raucous tour. Come out and be a part of history ladies and gentlemen!"

Children Of Bodom's Alexi Laiho adds: “We’ve rolled with Machine Head quite a few times in the past. My best memories are kick azz shows, parties, camaraderie and vocal coaching from Robb Flynn way back in 2008, so I think we’ll have a good time tearing it up all over North America! Not a bad way to end the long and non stop tour cycle for 'Halo Of Blood!'"

“With this killer line-up, this tour is bound to be a great success,” states Epica vocalist Simone Simons. “We will bring Epica to a whole new level and I can't wait to play the new songs along with the old material overseas.”

Epica founding member Mark Jansen shares: “Machine Head and Children of Bodom are bands I listened to as teenager, so it's really amazing to be on this tour with Epica."

Battlecross guitarist Tony Asta contributes the following: “What an honor to be asked to join a tour in support of Machine Head's first album release on their new label! We’re really excited to reunite with Robb and the guys, as well as Children Of Bodom - both legendary bands and friends from last summer’s Mayhem Fest. And we’ll get to see what Epicais all about. This is a tour with something for every metal head. We can’t wait to bring it brutal throughout the USA & Canada, banging heads and melting faces from coast-to-coast. See you in the pit!”

Hate Crew! We are super bummed to announce that our scheduled North American tour with Machine Head, Epica and Battlecross has been shut down by Machine Head. Apparently MH has to finish working on their new album, so they've chosen to postpone this scheduled tour, even though it was just two weeks away. We were really psyched to see everyone and kick some ass for you guys with another round of our 'Halo of Blood' world tour, but this decision was out of our hands, unfortunately. So...we're gonna use this time that we would be touring to keep working on the next COB record! Stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates all around and we'll hopefully be able to make it back to North American soon to rock with all you crazy metal heads. Stay positive and horns up!

Tour cancelled. Sucks for those looking forward to seeing them live. For the rest of us it is nice that they got extra time to work on the new album.

FUCK MACHINE HEAD...I wasn't even going to stay for that shitty ass band.
