i just need help addressing what problems there are in this mix. i was mostly pleased with it.

EDIT: this wasn't meant to be a real song or something, I'm just fooling around with eq and levels. Also, i switched the recordings so now a better eq is in there. Tell me what you think.

My first thought was the drums sound very robotic and boxy. Guitars sound boxy and muddy to my ears as well. Pay attention to those low mids I guess. I can't hear the bass if there is one. Also, the guitar sounds slightly out of tune on the breakdown parts. Sounds like it could turn into a cool song though. Kinda sounds like Kataklysm to me.
