I've had this problem with hand held vocals with a 58 and an I5. I just highpassed higher than usual, used some multi band comp and sucked a bit of the problem area out with an EQ. Had to use a fairly wide band and be aggressive with the EQ but the Multiband comp really helped alot for taming it.
