I used to love my birthdays, it was all about receiving, which being an only child is very important.

She didn't have any idea what was going on on Thursday. We had her party yesterday. She slept through half of it and was panic-stricken most of the time that she was awake. She was trying to figure out why all these people were in her house. So she made me hold her the whole time. Yeah, that was great for my arms.

She ran off to play with the first toy that she opened, so I had to open the rest. I forgot to dig her presents out of the closet and she got too much crap anyway, so I'm saving it for Christmas. The plan is to go get her ears pierced today, if Grandma would ever get here.
