Well if my misery disrupts everyone happiness, its only suitable that my happiness increases everyone's misery as well.rahvin said:that's exactly what i wanted to convey with this thread, before none other than misanthrope spoiled it with his cheerfulness.
ystävänpäivä? Damn how much do finns must waste on pens, with all those dots it would ruin most traditional pens.Villain said:Just to inform you all:
In Finland Valentine's Day is traditionally ystävänpäivä, ie. "friend's day", which means we Finns show our completely non-romantic affection to all our close friends, rather than to just those we love in romantic (or sexual, or whatever) way. At least no-one here in the north gives any heart-shaped gifts or dreams of eternal love today.
I will spend today with a group of very good friends, playing RPG's and having fun. In a non-romantic, non-sexual way, it is.
I also wish a very good day for every friend of mine here in UM.

they conveniently change all of them to straight lines over words in handwriting, or so it seemed to me from something i've seen recently. it probably doesn't decrease the amount of ink used, but it certainly helps them write a full sentence between sunrise and nightfall.Misanthrope said:ystävänpäivä?
