Hi,

Like any guitar player I am looking for the ultimate tone for my recordings. I have the full version of pod farm 2.5 platinum but cant seem do dial it in the way that i would like. To cut this short the tone I am trying to emulate is in the following examples:

Those are some pretty solid examples of the tone im trying to nail. I believe that the secret may lie in the Criminal head, but im not sure! Any help or patches will be greatly appriciated! Thanks!

I believe your right. Sounds like the criminal head with the 57 off axis. 0% room. Treadplate cab. Those shitty high frequencies are somewhere in the 4k-4500 region. i think there might be some around 2 k also.

This is what i have so far but im very unhappy with it:

I really am looking for somebody to help me with the criminal head though, maybe even gracious enough to post a patch! I hope this can help you help me! Thanks to everybody!

I think it sound pretty ok if other instruments are doing the right mix. because if the drums and bass sound pretty good, it will bring up the guitars sound to fit it right. We have to listen all the instruments to be one, not just only 1 of both guitars tracks.
