hardcore mix (first time using real quitars!)

guitars are EC-1000 through a 6505 through a 2x12 that i made with veteran 30s. mic'd with an sm57

bass is a MIM fender jazz with all of onqel's bass plugins + his newest distortion pedal plugin

drums are SSD4

edit: i'm kind of thinking maybe the drums are too loud/defined for this genre?

Mix is actually pretty good - the vocalist sound a lot like Lee Spielman.

Drums (snare and toms in particular) do sound a bit too polished for the sound as you said yourself.

Drums sound a bit polished, although I'm surprised you were able to get them to sound this "raw" already.
