Hardcore (Rave music)

There are many different forms of Hardcore ranging from piss poor rip offs of 80's love songs (happy hardcore) to sickeningly fast and hard noise (speedcore). I listen to/play speedcore, which is one of the different types of the hardcore genre. It is the hardest form of 'Hardcore'. The stuff I play/enjoy listening to runs at around 250-500 bpm. Some bands/artists you may have heard of for example, The Bezerker, Disciples of Annihilation, Johnny Violent and U.V.C. are a few.
All this happy sh!te that gets played (which I think you're talking about) needs abolishing, there's no thought to it, there's no time taken in production. They just rip off 70's/80's chart music and put a 140-50 bpm beat to it...Personally, I think it's sh!t...Mindless sh!t just like 'most' pop music, made for the masses...
