Has anyone..

I played second guitar during one immolation show in albany NY(2 hours from here). The EX guitarist was puking right before a show. I told the band I new 8 songs so the set was alittle short, neat though.

I also told "Fast" Eddie Clarke I thought he used to be great at the Motorhead 30th Anniversary gig in Hammersmith, to which he replied:

"I still am".

Good comeback. I should have responded with "really? Fastway were fucking SHIT".

after a show a couple years ago i saw him and Doc loading into their van outside the club. there was literally nobody anywhere near them. they looked like roadies, but i knew who they were, but i also wasn't sure about their grasp of English since i had just "talked" to the other guitarist and bassist and they had about 9 English words between them, so i was hesitant to go get all buddy buddy. but they were both quite fluent which was a relief and they were totally cool. it was past hours but we (my friends) had beer that we'd brought so we hung out in the back corridor behind the club and drank a 24 pack and talked about stuff. i mainly remember asking them about what the relashionship was in Poland between the DM bands and the NSBM bands. Peter said he knew Rob Darken fairly well, but that he was kind of weird and scary and didn't have many "friends". Doc said that they were generally pretty cool with the NS bands since they are all fascinated with war and whatnot, but he was pretty much non-political. He said most of the famous NSBM guys over there that he knew were kind of dorky, that they were all into medieval reenactments and stuff, kinda d&d-ish.

after that i was too drunk to remember much, but we talked about Texas a lot and tried to sing country songs but none of us really knew any so it was like "ohhhh my girl done left me, and my dog done got run over, texasssss!! ooooh yeah" or something.

great fucking day out of my life.

i just thought about the fact that Doc is dead now. :( :( :(
