Has or will Gogorgoth ever tour North America?

because its not about your shitty mainstream emo cutwrist band....

I thought the negative comments implied, that Gorgoroth would be that shitty mainstream band?

But to answer your actual question: why would someone here know if the band will tour North America? I think your best bet would be just to check the band's site regularly. I think they announce all future shows there.

Cool...well thanks to those who were able to keep it mature and not spend 10 mins to think of some retarded reply to this thread because its not about your shitty mainstream emo cutwrist band....

Was just a simple question, and yet it remains a mystery.... :(

The reason people replied like that was because Gorgoroth is the mainstream kiddie band of black metal.

They are? What makes them so? Are they easier to listen to than something like Burzum or Immortal?

I'm not being funny here, I'm not "up" on what's cool in black metal, I just listen to what I like and I like Gorgoroth.

I bet Marduk are a mainstream kiddie band too right?

I think generally the bands like Gorgoroth that try to seriously act Satanic and promote it are seen as being "kiddie bands".

Plus they, along with CoF, are the bm band people who aren't in bm know about. No one outside of metal circles knows about Burzum. And Immortal is also a sort of cheesy band but they don't take themselves so seriously like Gorgoroth so they don't get the hate.

No, Gorgoroth will never: they are nazi-grim-true-evil-satanic-aryan Norwegians. What the fuck. America is full of "racial mixes".

Well if you two have an argument, no one will ever understand what the fuck you‘re talking about.

No argument: that was a joke. A joke to take the piss out of (or "mock", if you don't understand what "take the piss out of sth" means) black metal bands' true-grim-sometimesnazi-evil attitude (Berlusconi's dick is eviler).

You're kidding, right? People who aren't in BM know Gorgoroth? Dude, I know LOTS of non-BM people, including metal fans in general, and I can list a bunch of black metal bands they HAVE heard of that don't include Gorgoroth.

Aside from CoF, you've got Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem (thanks to the Varg thing), Burzum (see Mayhem), Immortal (thanks to the ridiculous image), Behemoth (used to be BM), hell I know people who are familiar with Ihsahn and Emperor. How the hell is Gorgoroth at ALL "mainstream"? I've never seen a Gorgoroth t-shirt at Hot Topic, they're never on Sirius/XM.

Well first off, obviously Burzum isn't mainstream. Anyone who is as racist/misanthropic/hateful as Varg(and is a convicted murderer) isn't mainstream.

Gorgoroth is the band that talks the big talk(although they have never done anythign evil or illegal) and has wild, gorey shows, but plays music that actually is pretty easy on the ears.

Not saying there is anything wrong with that. Just that its hard to act like an underground cult band then release an album and sell 300,000 copies.

Depends on how you look at it. Musically Burzum is obviously far from mainstream, but then again Burzum is one of the most known bm-bands in the world.

Gorgoroth is the band that talks the big talk(although they have never done anythign evil or illegal)

Pretty irrelevant.

but plays music that actually is pretty easy on the ears.

This is what it's about.

Just that its hard to act like an underground cult band then release an album and sell 300,000 copies.

Mere sales don't make a band "true" or "un-true", it's all about the attitude of the band.
