Its too quiet... So, heres what I got yesterday and today in the mail:

Venom - The Second Coming VCD: They spend half their time yelling at the crowd to be louder, its sort of amusing in a get on with it kind of way.

Arch enemy - Live in Dallas 2002 VCD: Mmmmm Angela. Wages Of Sin tour, awesome songs, I wish they would tour here.

Arch Enemy - Vosselaar 2002 VCD: Mmmmm Angela.

Testament - Live in Anaheim 2003 VCD: Lesson number one with bootlegs: DONT STAND IN FRONT OF THE FUCKING SPEAKER TAPING IT THUS RENDERING THE SOUND COMPLETELY INAUDIBLE AND FUZZY. Dumb fuck.

Death Angel - Live in No Mercy Festival 2003 VCD: MISTRESS OF PAIN! \m/

SLAYER - Belfort 2000 VCD: Lesson number two with bootlegs: DONT BUY ONE YOU ALREADY OWN.

ANTHRAX - Live In Montreal, Quebec 2003 VCD: From the WCFYA tour, good show, I like this one.

Slayer - Live on MTV VCD: From the Undisputed Attitude tour I think, awesome show!

OLD MAN'S CHILD LIVE IN FRANCE'99 VCD: Pretty bad quality, but its the only Old Mans Child bootleg ive ever seen so I got it.

MORBID ANGEL - Live at Corola 1996 VCD: DOMINATE! Great bootleg, awesome show, they do Where The Slime Lives and it sounds the same as the album, all the weird pinch harmonics and everything, Trey is a guitarical genius.

Morbid Angel - Live in PA 91 VCD: Old skool Morbid Angel.

IMMORTAL - Live in Norway Inferno Festival 2003 VCD: Immortals last recorded show I believe, and its fucking amazing, they shouldnt have broken up, I hope Abbath comes to his senses soon.

Dissection - London 96 VCD: Its Dissection live.

I also got:

The Glorious Burden - Iced Earth: Very nice packaging, pretty crap album besides a few great songs. Get Barlow back. Now.

Riff After Riff - The Wildhearts: I thought they would be heavier than this.

Buried In Oblivion - Into Eternity: I like what ive heard so far. I thought it was going to be a stupid prog wankfest after the first 30 seconds but then they became men and got heavier.

Devils Ground - Primal Fear: Meh, seems ok.

The Arrival - Hypocrisy: Seems alright, has aliens on the cover, its pretty cool.

Here Come The Brides - Brides Of Destruction: Punky. I dont like punk. Maybe it will be better when I give it a proper listen.

As The Palaces Burn - Lamb Of God: WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT THIS BAND?

Tempo Of The Damned - Exodus: THIS RULES! Awesome thrash, everyone must buy it NOW!

Anthology - Diamond Head: Havent listened to it yet, its 2cds though, thats value. Unless its crap.

DVS:

Monsters Of Metal Volume 1: 2 dvds with 240 minutes of metal video clips, some of them are so bad, its awesome.

You arent missing much. Except the trilogy and Red Baron. It does have really cool packaging and liner notes though :)

Coops: THATS it! I knew id heard a similair riff somewhere!

Phloggy: The Testament one was more like *fuzzfuzzfuzzbassnotefuzzfuzzdoublebassfuzzlowgrowlfuzzHE PIT!fuzz*

a; ANTHRAX - Live In Montreal, I like this one.

b; The Glorious Burden - Get Barlow back. Now.

c; Here Come The Brides - Brides Of Destruction: Punky. I dont like punk.
a; So are you going to see Anthrax in Sydney?

b; Don't get Barlow back, hire a songwriting lead guitarist instead.

c; I too hate punk, which is why I've avoided the album so far. I'll pick it up if the price is right, but $27.99 isn't right.

A. Nope, not at the moment anyway, maybe ill buy a ticket from ebay closer to the date if I feel like going, its on the 25thish isnt it?

B. Yes, get Barlow back, Ripper is a great vocalist but he sounds like a shitty power metal singer in IE, the choruses all have that homosexual operatic thing happening and its all just going to shit. Get Matt back, get him to resing the songs WITH SOME FUCKING VENOM IN THE VOCALS, thats all they need :)

C. I wouldnt bother paying $20 for it if I was you, unless you like punk, I expected a lot better from Nikki and Tracii, it might grow on me though, I only had a quick listen, Exodus has been my cd of choice all today :)

a; The Melbourne concert is the 25th.
b; The choruses were all recorded with Barlow - which is why they sound so bad.

If you go to Anthrax spawny, you will have to go to the second show. People going to the second show from here are Me,Brian, Xena.

Prepare for an arse whoopin'.

A. Well ill go to the Sydney one on a different night I think, it would take me a while to get home from the Melbourne one :)

B. Its not Matts fault Jon has lost his marbles. Matt "Homeland Defender" Barlow is a better singer than Ripper, what if Matt never comes back and IE turns into a gay power metal chorus band?

Just checked, the first Sydney show is 26th, a Monday, I can crash at work, I may just go maybe, if I can find a ticket, theres some on ebay, ill see how much they end up going for.

Then I shall hate them forever, and hate Ripper too. :err:
Until that happens...

Well we shall see how the next album goes then... I may have to join IE to save them from themselves.
