Have to buy an amp tomorrow! Need opinions FAST!

I honestly don't know much about amps, so I'm coming to you guys for advice. OK, my amp just fizzleed out and I HAVE to have an amp ordered by tomorrow for it to get here in time for a "schools almost over" party our band will be playing in. I need something in the $400 price range. I'm not sure if I should go with a tube or solidstate amp, but as long is it will sound good when I rip out sizzling hot leads, I'll be happy. I really don't want to go with anything under 50W.

If you guys have any ideas on what amp will suit me, any at all, please, give them to me!

Go to ebay and look for a 5150 combo for that much, its 60 tub watts and very good for metal.

thats what i have, it was good, then somethign happened. I dont know. mine is the 50W one. i thought it was the fuse, so i replaced the fuse, then it blew another. Apparently i got too much current running through it. I dont get what happened
