the amount of progression in Warrel's writing. I had a Sanctuary/Nevermore listening session at my house the other night. I listened to all the CDs in chronological order. And all I can say is DAMN. Warrel has gotten hundreds of times better since Refuge Denied. The dude is awesome.

haha...refuge denied is not exactly a masterpiece lyrically....not bad...but 'i was born a warrior, force of steel in my hand....' lol...

Alot of the new songs ar very cloudy to me, allegory and shit, insignifant is far the best song he ever wrote for the music, but the santuary days and nights, were in its time very interesting.
