Have you heard about Lagoba amps ?

the Mr Hector Amp is avaiable under the name Fame Overkill (Laboga produces amps and the Music Store in Cologne sells them under their own label called Fame instead of Laboga) I heard it's a good amp that sounds like a dual recto, but it's not very versatile because of the few potis and no prescene controll, if this is no problem for you, it will be a very good amp, costs about 1000 euro in the music store I think.

Ive actually had the honour of trying out a Mr Hector for a couple of hours.
Regardless of it's looks its more like a JCM900 than a high gain amp, no mater how I pushed it it wouldnt do the trick for me.
Another big minus in my book is that none of the features on the panel are footswitchable besides the channel switch...
Guess its a pretty descent rocknrollamp though.

Topic resurrection!

I bought a used Fame overkill (very good condition with 1 year warranty left) for 480€ and I'm just blown away by it. A bit Recto-ish but with tighter mids.

they're fucking great imo! I'm buying the mr. hector head in two weeks or so when I get the money for the head. When we played in portugal, we used one at a gig and it was fucking brutal. Recto-ish growl but with a marshall-ish midrange I love. A tubescreamer is kinda a "must" with that head but hey, seems like it's a must with every tube amp...

and for the grind freaks here, it's fucking insane with hm-2 haha
