I'm more annoyed by the flooding at my apartment. Can't the city do something about all this water coming up over the sidewalk?! For chrissakes! The beach is just a mile away!

Yeah it's always happened. It's easy to just cover a song rather than write a new one. Kids will always buy it too.

For bands similar to Iced Earth and Six Feet Under that already have a large fan base and experience in a live environment, it's highly unnecessary to create multiple albums for covers. A single cover during a live performance would be acceptable, but a whole album?

A new band on the scene has a bit of leeway. It's easier to play covers than craft your own songs for the first few shows, especially if the band members have little to no experience playing in front of a crowd.
