Im a bit of a newbie to recording, ive only being playing guitar for a year and a half aswell. Ive been messing about with cubase trying lay down some tracks and work on some songs.
My gear,
Soundcard: Line 6 TonePort UX1
AMP: Line 6 spiderIII
Guitar: Stock Ibanez RG7321
Software: Cubase SX3
I dont know what im doing wrong, but i dont get much clarity in my tone it seems to be fuzzy. There was alot of bass so i backed off the bass a bit and now its even more fuzzier. I thought it might have been my speakers, but ive tried different sets and headphones and the sound still is quite frankly...sh*t.
If you guys need anymore info or want a recording to hear the sound let me know and ill get one up for you.
Hope someone can give me some advice.
