I'd rather listen to Maynard's singing than Garm yelling like a raped Pavarotti on La Masquerade infernale. But yeah Garm is a very good singer, still think Maynard sounds more emotive, at least to my ears...

garm's vocals can be great but can also be a little too dramatic and out of control. la masquerade infernale he sometimes shoots out of his range and is not completely consistent. the sham mirrors is better in that respect. his new style of vocals is the best on a quick fix of melancholy.

I agree with you completely. To me Maynard sounds less theatrical too.
