I was just checking out Mtv.com to see what they had to say about Dimebag. There's actually quite a bit. Just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow night's Headbanger's Ball will be dedicated to him, I''ll definitely be watching.

It was OK. Dave was very gracious, but it was barely an hour, started 5 min. late (thanks to that bucket of farts Battle for Ozzfest - what a bunch of pussies!), had way too many commercials, and only played like four vids. The one on Fuse was better. Yeah Juliya is annoying most times, but it was more of a celebration of his life with amusing anecdotes from metal celebs. It seems like they play more vids too.

Yeah, MTV's tribute was flacid at best, pure consumerism it seemed. I would like to have seen more of the real Darrell and not just his music video's. I hoped they'd show some interviews or him joking around like on their home videos. I guess better this then nothing though.
